The money is immediately put on hold after a request is submitted. After a tutor has committed to your question, your payment will be withdrawn into a trust holding status by CourseCap. After the tutor has submitted an answer, the user can choose to release the payment immediately, or be automatically released after a two-weeks’ period, during which, the user can submit any complaints.
